Two big dents right out the box (box was also damaged). One near the handle on the door, and the other on the back corner. Otherwise appears to work. Plugged in, started cooling, and door so far stays sealed. I’ll update if anything changes.

I bought this in June 2023 and it worked until June 2025. It stopped cooling. Customer service was horrendous with the back and forth on email getting nowhere for over a week. Wanted me to ship it back for repair. Had a pro look at it and replaced the fan. It cools down to 38, and then 2 hours later it’s at 50 degrees. I never had a refrigerator that didn’t last for 20 years or more. Don’t buy this one. I’m lucky that it was my secondary refrigerator and not my primary.

LISTEN, THIS IS THE BEST Fridge or Freezer I’ve ever bought. Picked up one in 2019 and liked it so much I grabbed a second in 2021. We run one as a fridge and the other as a freezer out in our Florida garage where it is hot and crazy humid most of the year. Both have run flawlessly. Meanwhile, my indoor Frigidaire and GE fridges needed repairs for lights, cooling problems, and even control boards. These units just keep humming. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I always wish people would leave a review down the road on big price items like this so here I am letting you all know that 2 years later I still love this freezer! I can’t even tell you how nice it’s been not having to defrost it every other months thanks to its auto defrost. Definitely worth the money!
This freezer has so much space and I love the door shelves and especially the basket at the bottom! You can adjust the temperature to use this as either a freezer or refrigerator and it can be adjusted to get much colder than the average freezer if thar is something you need. The price is great for the size and I’ve had it for a couple months now with no issues so far

We had this freezer for 2 years and it quit working. Contacted them for customer support and it’s been like pulling teeth to get help. Do not recommend buying this.

I tried to leave feedback before but Amazon didn’t like being called out for their lack of customer service.
The freezer is great! Works as it should, is quite and clean. Frost free, which is a plus. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good 13 cubic foot freezer. Apparently it can also be setup to be a refrigerator simply by setting the internal temperature accordingly for a refrigerator. A nice extra feature.
It did arrive with a few dents from shipping (I’m guessing it was from shipping) on the outside near the back, but these did not appear to cause any problems with the function or seal of the freezer. Since getting a freezer these days is nearly impossible, I didn’t want to send this back and risk not getting one at all. The dents were minor as shown in the picture.

So I have two of these side by side one in freezer mode the other in fridge mode in my garage and I can’t recommend them enough. They are super quiet, draw little power and are wonderful. But getting them was a massive hassle. My first one from Amazon was damaged so bad half the side was caved in looked like it was stabbed by a forklift. So they took it back, and I got one from Home Depot which still had a tiny bit of damage but wasn’t visible. Second one I tried to get from Home Depot but it was completely destroyed before it even got to my house, home depot called me to let me know they stopped carrying this item because of so many damaged ones. So I tried Amazon again and my second one came completely undamaged. I think Whynter needs to rethink how they are packing these cause it seems very difficult to get these to you undamaged.
